Sean O’Malley has given his thoughts on how he believes Conor McGregor would fare against Khamzat Chimaev, Kamaru Usman, and Colby Covington.

McGregor is currently on a two-fight losing skid, with both losses coming at the hands of Dustin Poirier, most recently at UFC 264, where he lost by a doctor’s stoppage after he broke his tibia in the first round. The Irishman is planning to make his comeback in the summer and wants an immediate lightweight title shot upon his return.

The Dublin native doesn’t have a shortage of options, however, with Usman, Chimaev and Covington all willing to fight him, although many believe McGregor wouldn’t stand a chance against them. O’Malley believes that the Irishman has what it takes to do the unthinkable, however.

Sean O’Malley On Conor McGregor

Speaking on his YouTube channel, O’Malley said that McGregor would beat Usman, Chimaev, and Covington.

“I think Chimaev vs. Usman, if he’s as good as, like, boom, he does beat Gilbert Burns, that’s a very interesting fight,” O’Malley said. “There’s one man, though, that can take all those motherf***ers out. Conor McGregor. Any weight, any time, any place. I think he beats Kamaru, Khamzat and Colby Covington.”

Usman is expected to put his welterweight title on the line against Leon Edwards in the summer, while Chimaev will face Gilbert Burns in a potential title eliminator at UFC 273 in April.

As for Covington, he’s coming off a dominant unanimous decision victory over Jorge Masvidal at UFC 272, and wants another go at ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’, after losing their first two encounters. O’Malley most recently stopped Raulian Paiva in the first round at UFC 269.

Do you agree with Sean O’Malley that Conor McGregor would beat Kamaru Usman, Khamzat Chimaev, and Colby Covington?
