Conor McGregor has laughed off another threat ahead of his fight against Michael Chandler.

McGregor is currently coaching The Ultimate Fighter 31 opposite Chandler, with the two expected to fight at the end of the season in August or September. In March, the two had a go at each other on the set of TUF, after which Dana White said that the two hated eachother. The Irishman, however, revealed that he isn’t upset with the former Bellator champion, and that he respects his competitiveness.

“I like his style, he likes my style, we have a good buzz. That’s the way it should be. There’s still a competitive fire. I’m still going to mince him. I know he’s going to try and throw everything into his shots also but there’s still admiration,” McGregor said.

Conor McGregor Responds To Michael Chandler

In a recent tweet, Chandler and McGregor once again had a go at eachother. The American said that he’d beat the Dublin native “with an inch of his career”, and he unsurprisingly drew a response from McGregor.

McGregor last fought at UFC 264, where he lost to Dustin Poirier by a doctor’s stoppage after breaking his tibia seconds before the end of the first round. A two-division UFC champion, McGregor will make his return to the Octagon to face Chandler in a welterweight contest. The Irish superstar wants to make history by becoming the first three division champion in UFC history.

Chandler is coming off a third round submission loss to Poirier at UFC 281.
