Itching to get back inside the Octagon, Dustin Poirier has said that he will fight anyone, including Conor McGregor and Colby Covington.

Poirier last fought at UFC 269, where he lost by third round submission in his lightweight title fight against Charles Oliveira and has since been linked to a fourth fight against McGregor and welterweight bouts against bitter rival Covington and Nate Diaz. He is also interested in a potential fight against Michael Chandler.

Dustin Poirier On His Next Fight

Speaking to MMA Fighting’s The MMA Hour, Poirier said that he will fight anyone the UFC puts in front of him.

“I’ll fight Chandler. I’ll fight [Justin] Gaethje,” Poirier said. “If Tony [Ferguson] wins a fight and comes back down to ’55, I’ll fight Tony. Whoever’s in the line, dude. I’ll fight anybody, anyone… anyone that makes sense. McGregor’s tough to say. You never know… I’ll fight him at ’55 or ’70, though, if he does come back and want to fight. Yeah, he’s in it too.”

When asked about a tweet in which he accepted a fight against Covington on July 30th, Poirier said that although he doesn’t want his bitter rival to make money off of him, the UFC made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.

“I don’t hate anyone, Ariel,” Poirier said. “But if there was a line right before hate, Colby’s standing there. And I really dislike the guy, and I’ve been saying I don’t want him to make a dollar off of fighting me. Because they (UFC) offered me him last week, that’s why. So, whatever I tweeted out Saturday or Friday, they offered me him Tuesday or Wednesday that week. It was either wait till the end of the year and fight for a number-one contender at lightweight, or fight July against him and that was the name that they gave me.”
