UFC Vegas 55 went down on Saturday night at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. In the main event, Ketlen Vieira improved to two wins in a row with a closely contested split decision victory over Holly Holm. The Brazilian’s consecutive wins against two former bantamweight champions in ‘The Peacher’s Daughter’ and Miesha Tate have put her in a strong position to fight for the title.
In the co-main event, Michel Pereira improved to five wins in a row with a split decision victory over Santiago Ponzinibbio after a back and forth battle.
Elsewhere on the UFC Vegas 55 main card, Chidi Njokuani scored a second consecutive first round knockout victory in the UFC by demolishing Dusko Todorovic with a devastating elbow, Tabatha Ricci improved to two wins in a row by scoring a unanimous decision victory over Polyana Viana and Park Jun Young returned to winning ways with a split decision victory over Eryk Anders.
