UFC Vegas 59 went down at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas on Saturday night. In the main event, Jamahal Hill improved his winning streak to three in a row by scoring his biggest career win against Thiago Santos by fourth round TKO.
In the co-main event, Geoff Neal improved his winning run to two in a row by stopping Vicente Luque in a rather one-sided fight. ‘Handz of Steel’ also became the first person to knock the Brazilian out in his MMA career.
Elsewhere on the UFC Vegas 59 main card, Muhammad Usman made a successful start to his UFC career by knocking out Zac Pauga in the second round of The Ultimate Fighter season 30 heavyweight finale, Julianna Miller also had a successful debut as she stopped Brogan Walker in the third round of TUF 30 flyweight finale, Serghei Spivak improved to two wins in a row with a second round stoppage win over Augusto Sakai and Terrance McKinney returned to winning ways with a first round submission win over Erick Gonzalez.
