UFC on ABC 3 went down on Saturday evening at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. The main event between Brian Ortega and Yair Rodriguez ended in an unfortunate manner after ‘T-City’ dislocated his shoulder in an armbar defence retraction. ‘Pantera’ was declared the winner by TKO as a result.
In the co-main event, Amanda Lemos returned to winning ways with a second round submission win over Michelle Waterson. Elsewhere on the UFC on ABC 3 main card, Li Jingliang bounced back into the win column with a brutal knockout win over Muslim Salikhov, Matt Schnell pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in UFC history by putting Sumudaerji to sleep with a triangle choke after getting stunned half a dozen times in the second round, Shane Burgos edged out a majority decision against Charles Jourdain and Lauren Murphy ruined Miesha Tate’s flyweight debut by scoring a decision win.
