UFC 275 went down on Sunday morning at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. In the main event, Jiri Prochazka submitted Glover Teixeira with 28 seconds remaining in their back and forth five round war. The Czech was down on two of the judges’ scorecards and level on the third judges’ scorecard going into the fifth round but turned the tables on his opponent with a minute left on the clock, slipping out of a dangerous position to take the Brazilian’s back and choke him out. In the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko was pushed to the limit but still left the Octagon as the flyweight champion thanks to a razor close split decision.
Elsewhere on the UFC 275 main card, Zhang Weili returned to winning ways with a spectacular spinning back fist knockout of Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Jake Matthews returned to the win column with a second round knockout win over Andre Fialho and Jack Della Maddalena improved to 2-0 in the UFC with a first round finish of Ramazan Emeev.
