Jorge Masvidal has fired back at Chael Sonnen.

In March 2022, Masvidal assaulted Covington outside a Miami steakhouse, after which he was arrested and charged with aggravated battery. Fortunately, Gamebred will avoid jail time through a plea deal.

On November 6, Masvidal admitted to a minor battery charge in a Miami courthouse, with his penalty being the time he already spent in custody.

In a recent episode of the MMA Hour, Masvidal criticized ‘Chaos’ for his ‘lies’ and even threatened to knock more of his teeth out.

“I don’t know when, but me and Colby are going to see each other at some point,” Masvidal said “Whether it’s in a f****** cage, or I don’t know where the f*** it’s going to be, but we’re going to see each other for him lying on my name, for him f****** pressing charges, for everything that he’s f****** done, we are going to see each other. And it’s going to be fun. It’s going to be interesting. I’m going to knock the rest of his f****** teeth out.”

Sonnen wasn’t pleased to hear it, and fired shots at Masvidal in a series of tweets.

“Jorge if you wanna scrap, you hafta beat one of my students first, Colby Cov… Ummmm… Scratch that. Let’s stick to things that are possible.”

“Are you allowed to kick with the leg that’s wearing the house arrest ankle monitor?”

“Did you go to a Miami Car Shop to have them pull the dent Kamaru Usman put in your face out? On a related note-shouldn’t they just have replaced your entire face?”

“Lastly. A word of advice. Don’t be two-faced. It means the next time you fight, you’re gonna have FOUR black eyes instead of the usual TWO.”

In response, Masvidal told Sonnen to keep the same energy when they face off.

“You juice head, I bet you won’t say this stuff in person. Just keep the same energy when you see me.”
