UFC Vegas 9 went down on Saturday night at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The card only featured seven bouts, after Thiago Moises and Marcos Rogerio de Lima tested positive for the coronavirus just hours before the card got underway.
In the main event, Alistair Overeem won an entertaining heavyweight contest, stopping Augusto Sakai in the first minute of the final round. In the UFC Vegas 9 co-main event, Ovince Saint Preux scored a spectacular knockout over Alonzo Menifield in the second round.
Elsewhere on the card Michel Pereira submitted Zelim Imadaev in the final minute of the fight, having dominated in entertaining fashion for three rounds. And Brian Kelleher needed less than a minute to submit Ray Rodriguez, who was a late replacement for Kevin Natividad.

The UFC returns next Saturday night with UFC Vegas 10, which will see a fun strawweight matchup between Michelle Waterson and Angela Hill in the main event.
