UFC Vegas 60 went down on Saturday evening at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. In the main event, Cory Sandhagen returned to winning ways with a TKO win over Song Yadong. The fight was razor-close up until the stoppage at the end of the fourth round, which came through a doctor’s stoppage courtesy a nasty cut over the Chinese sensation’s left eye, caused by a second round step-in elbow by ‘The Sandman’.
In the co-main event, Gregory Rodrigues improved to two wins in a row with a second round stoppage over Chidi Njokuani.
Elsewhere on the UFC Vegas 60 main card, Andre Fili returned to winning ways with a split decision win over Bill Algeo, Dana White’s Contender Series alumni Joseph Pyfer made a winning start to his UFC career by knocking out Alen Amedovski in the first round, Rodrigo Nascimento bounced back into the win column with a closely contested split decision win over Tanner Boser and Anthony Hernandez improved to three wins in a row with a first round submission victory over Marc-Andre Barriault.
