Tony Ferguson doesn’t care about Paddy Pimblett’s feelings.
Ferguson is set to face Pimblett in a highly-anticipated lightweight bout at UFC 296, where he’ll be hoping to snap his six-fight losing streak against the Brit, who is currently riding a six-fight winning run with four wins in the UFC.
Talking about Ferguson in a recent media talk, Pimblett jokingly revealed how the former interim lightweight champion blocked him on Instagram.
When Ferguson was asked why he blocked Pimblett, he didn’t hold back.
“He’s a fighter isn’t he and he’s in my way,” Ferguson said while speaking to the media ahead of UFC 296. “I don’t really have too many words for it, the seriousness comes out the closer we get to the fight. He’s worried about me blocking him on f*****g Instagram, ‘I’m like you’re a little bitch.’ If you’re going to talk f*****g shit, man up and f*****g keep your balls between your legs. Don’t drop him them like a little bitch.”
Ferguson further stated that he doesn’t care about fun and games anymore. He is only focused on fighting and jumping back into title contention.
“I just didn’t want to see his bullshit, I know he’s all about YouTube and all the other things and he’s got his f*****g wigs and everything,” Ferguson said. “I’m not here to have f*****g fun. I might have done that before, taking some chances, giving these fighters an alley-oop to where they are, but I’m not f*****g around anymore. I can point and prove that through my team.”
Tony Ferguson has no good words for Paddy Pimblett before #UFC296.
