Sean O’Malley fails to understand how Henry Cejudo managed to win the UFC flyweight and bantamweight titles.

Cejudo snagged the UFC flyweight title in 2018 after edging out Demetrious Johnson in a razor-close fight. A year later, ‘Triple C’ won the bantamweight belt by taking out Marlon Moraes, before defending it against Dominick Cruz at UFC 249 in 2020, when he announced his retirement.

The former double-champ returned to fighting in 2023, when he faced Aljamain Sterling for the bantamweight title, but lost by a razor-close decision. He most recently lost to Aljo’s best friend, Merab Dvalishvili, by a unanimous decision.

‘Suga’ believes Cejudo’s defeats suggest that he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, and he’s pretty shocked that the Olympic gold medalist ever held a UFC title.

“Henry’s gotta be the number one dumbest, shortest champion that has ever lived,” O’Malley said on The Pat McAfee show. “He’s so stupid. Every time he talks I think he’s getting dumber, the dude is so stupid. I can not believe he won a championship belt, he talks and talks and says the dumbest shit ever. He’s really dumb and short.”

O’Malley also gave his thoughts on who he’d like to fight next.

“Merab came up to me and said ‘Congratulations’, I said ‘Thank You’ I thought it was a fan, I didn’t even recognize him,” O’Malley said. “Then, he said ‘You got to say my name.’ I was like ‘Oh shit, that’s Merab’ I didn’t realize I thought it was someone saying good job. The dude’s nose was so crooked. Merab very well 100 percent could be next. If Merab is next, I’d love to do in The Sphere in Vegas, if Ilia is next I’d love to do it in Spain.”
