Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson claims Ian Garry declined an invitation to appear on his ‘Jaxxon podcast’ out of fear of being mocked.
‘The Future’ was scheduled to take on Vicente Luque at UFC 296, but the fight was canceled after the Irishman had to withdraw due to pneumonia. Garry is now set to face Geoff Neal at UFC 298, ahead of which he was invited to Jackson’s podcast. However, he turned the invitation down.
During a recent appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Jackson claimed that Garry declined the invitation because he feared Jackson would fun of him.
“We already had somebody decline because they said I was going to make fun of them but I haven’t really been making fun of him.” Rampage Jackson stated. “Honestly I can’t remember his name but I think it was that guy that, what’s his name? Ian? I think they finally got him on, he didn’t wanna come at first. What’s his name? Ian the c***, Ian with the wife that’s got the boyfriend living with them. Ian Garry. What? I’m not gonna make fun of him? Is that true though that his wife got a boyfriend living with them? Oh it’s not true? That’s a rumour too?”
Rampage Jackson, who last entered the cage in 2019 and suffered a knockout loss to Fedor Emelianenko, is now preparing for a boxing match against Shannon Briggs in June.
