We had a great PFL season this past year, and we’ve got some great match ups to put a cap on the year and see who the best in their weight classes are. There are a couple returning PFL champions in Lance Palmer and Natan Schulte, as well as returning runner-up Ray Cooper III. Palmer was originally scheduled to fight Daniel Pineda for the PFL Featherweight Tournament Championship, however Pineda was forced out of the bout for undisclosed reasons, and Alex Gilpin has stepped in to replace him.
Pineda had a great PFL season this year, going 2-0 with both victories coming via stoppage over great opponents. This will be Gilpin’s third attempt at beating Palmer. They fought in May of this year, and their last fights in October were also against one another, with Palmer winning 30-27 on all three scorecards for both fights.
Ray Cooper III will fight UFC veteran David Michaud in the welterweight co-main event as well. There are some great final match ups on this card, and of course they’re all five round title fights, except the first fight of the night. Fight Card posted below:
