The UFC’s newest signing Kayla Harrison isn’t too concerned about her opponent Holly Holm training with Cris Cyborg ahead of their bantamweight clash at UFC 300.

The former UFC bantamweight champion is hoping to bag another shot at the 135-pound title with a win against Harrison at UFC 300, ahead of which she has sought the help of Cyborg, who had long been calling for a fight against the Olympic gold medalist.

Kayla and Cyborg were meant to throw down in both the PFL and Bellator, but that never panned out. During the UFC 300 press conference, someone popped the question to Kayla about Cyborg teaming up with Holm and the Olympian didn’t hold back.

“Who?” Harrison said when she was asked about Cyborg during a UFC 300 Q&A. “Come on, she just loves to stir the f***ing pot, doesn’t she? Just go home already, nobody cares.

“Of course, I don’t use the word ‘legend’ lightly but I think Holly is a legend in the sport. She’s been in the top ten for years now, and been a former champ. So I didn’t come over here just to see how I can do and fight amongst everyone. I’m here to come over and win a UFC title and finish my career on top. Holly’s a good start to that.”

Will Kayla Harrison make a successful start to her UFC career against Holly Holm at UFC 300?
