Cris Cyborg thinks Kayla Harrison will have a tough time handling Holly Holm’s speed in their UFC 300 fight.
Harrison will make her highly-anticipated UFC debut at UFC 300, where she will look to take out a former bantamweight champion in the form of Holm, whom Cyborg has encountered before. The Brazilian has previously engaged in combat with ‘The Preacher’s Daughter’ and is presently undertaking training sessions with her in preparation for her forthcoming bout.
In a recent tweet, Cyborg shared her thoughts on the fight, explaining why her training partner will beat the two-time Olympic gold medalist in Judo come fight night.
“I think Holly Holm’s hand speed and foot speed are going to be too much at the new weight. Kayla spent a lot of camp worried about taking muscle off when the problem is going to be speed. What did she do to increase her speed during camp?” Cyborg tweeted.

That being said, Cyborg also warned Holm against letting Harrison get too close.
“She can let Kayla get close, she just needs to punch and use angles. She can get taken down too she just can’t let Kayla do damage.”

Striking Holly will do damage.
The judoka, who is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time PFL lightweight champion, has mainly competed at 155 pounds throughout her career. However, she has also fought once at featherweight and most recently participated in a 150-pound catchweight bout, so it’ll be interesting to see how she fares at 135 pounds.
Who do you think will win the bantamweight clash between Holly Holm and Kayla Harrison?
