Sean O’Malley and Conor McGregor are no longer friends.
O’Malley and McGregor had a great relationship until the Irishman pulled him into the Ryan Garcia drug controversy in May, saying: “Ryan Garcia, I am actually disgusted. This Ostarine… it reminds me that Sean O’Malley was on it as well.”
In 2018, O’Malley was suspended for six months after testing positive for Ostarine, a banned substance. ‘Suga’, who tested positive for only a trace amount, says it came from sweat transfer.
“I remember asking USADA and the UFC, ‘Can it be transferred through sweat?’ and they said, ‘No, not at this time, there are no studies, it’s never happened’,” O’Malley said. “Just recently, studies came out, scientists, athletes, it happened, someone was sharing knee bands, they tested for Ostarine and they tested the knee band. I don’t know how it worked, but it came back that Ostarine and that those kind of tainted supplements, or I guess it would be tainted supplements can be through sweat exchange.”
Conor McGregor just laughed off O’Malley’s excuse.
In a recent episode of The Timbo-Suga Show, the UFC bantamweight champ slammed McGregor for being a ‘jealous bitch’ and a druggie.
“Conor does his little bump (sniffs) and puts a laughing face,” O’Malley said. “That one drove me a little crazy, I’m like really motherf*****, this is science. He’s a jealous bitch. That’s what he is. He’s on drugs.”
The UFC champ also said if they fought in the cage, he’d thoroughly dismantle the Dublin native.
“I will chirp Conor because I do believe I can beat Conor in a fight,” O’Malley said. “I’m not just saying that, I think stylistically I could beat Conor in a fight, not an easy fight, but I wouldn’t call out somebody if I didn’t think I could beat them in a fight. I think I beat Conor in a fight.”
