Francis Ngannou has given his thoughts on Ciryl Gane, former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor, and Justin Gaethje.

Ngannou will defend his heavyweight crown in a title unification bout against Gane at UFC 270 next month. The two used to be sparring partners at MMA Factory a few years ago, so ‘The Predator’ knows a thing or two about ‘Bon Gamin’.

Ciryl Gane

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Ngannou said that Gane is a very good fighter, who moves likes a lightweight inside the Octagon.

“He’s really good as a fighter and as a man as well,” Ngannou said. “His movement and his speed, those two things stand out basically for a heavyweight. I mean lightweights, all those guys, they fight like that and he fights as those lighter division [guys] and not like a heavyweight. Heavyweights, usually they stand and bang.”

Conor McGregor

Ngannou also gave his thoughts on McGregor, saying that he loves how the Irishman is always full of confidence.

“Conor McGregor is a very good fighter,” Ngannou said. “We can say whatever we want because he has not won a fight [in a while]. But when you watch a Conor fight, his style and everything is great. Man, he has something else. He is unique on his way of carrying himself. You know, sometimes people lose fights and then just lose confidence and shut up. The guy is always there, going after people and saying stuff.

“He’s very high level of trash talk. There is always a chance to re-establish ourselves as long as you want it. The problem is, does he really want that? When I watched his last fight against [Dustin] Poirier, it was pretty good because you can see the confidence in Conor. He tried several submissions in certain position. He’s been there [at the top] and knows exactly what it takes to get there again.”

Justin Gaethje

When asked about Gaethje, Ngannou said that he’s a big fan of him and loves to watch his fights.

“When I have Justin Gaethje, all day long I am watching that fight,” Ngannou said. “Oh, because he does not care. He goes for war and whether he wins or loses, you enjoy his fight. That is because he goes for war and doesn’t work there to like play with you and win the fight. But he goes to fight for real like a gangster. I like watching him all day long.”

Do you think Francis Ngannou will reign as the UFC heavyweight champion for a long time?
